As we reach the end of another school year, I want to extend my sincere thanks to our Upper School families for your partnership, trust, and support. Whether cheering from the sidelines, attending performances and events, volunteering your time, or working alongside us through the everyday moments of adolescence, your engagement helps strengthen our community.
Summer offers something that can be difficult to find during the school year: time. Time to rest, time to reconnect with family and friends, time to explore interests, and time to reflect. For adolescents, these months can be an important opportunity to build independence, strengthen relationships, and discover more about themselves outside the routines and expectations of school. It is also healthy for young people to have unstructured time—time to simply be, discover their own rhythms, and reflect on the year behind them.
To our Grade 12 families, congratulations. As you celebrate this important milestone and prepare to launch your daughters into their next chapter, know that it has been a privilege to partner with you throughout their Upper School journey. We wish our graduates every success and happiness in the years ahead.
To all of our families, thank you for being part of another memorable year at Havergal. I hope the months ahead bring opportunities for rest, connection, adventure, and renewal. We look forward to welcoming our students back in September and beginning another year together.
Wishing you a wonderful summer,
Krista

Cybersecurity Awareness: Phishing Scams
With the summer break quickly approaching, many of our students will be spending more of their downtime online—whether they are staying in touch with friends, streaming, or gaming. To help them navigate the digital world safely, we have sent an email directly to your daughters containing a practical guide to spotting and handling “phishing” scams.
This age-appropriate guide covers the warning signs of online scams (such as artificial urgency and suspicious links) and outlines clear, calm steps they can take if they ever accidentally compromise an account.
While we actively teach digital media literacy in our classrooms, these safety habits are most effective when supported by families. We encourage you to use this opportunity to start or continue conversations about cyber safety at home.
Green and Gold Shop: Summer Closure
