Founders’ Day registration
All parents need to complete their child’s Founder’s Day registration. We will email parents who have not yet completed the registration or updated their child’s attendance details on Veracross on Monday. Here is the linked registration for students to attend.
Dance Troupe Showcase
The Dance Troupe Showcase is being held on Thursday April 20, after Founders’ Day at 4 pm. Tickets are $10, charged to student accounts, and will be available in the Temerty Commons at lunch and at the door.
Crofton House at Havergal
On Friday, April 21 the Grade 8 and 9 band students will have the opportunity to hear and work with an ensemble from Crofton House, a fellow girls’ school in BC within the CAIS network (Canadian Accredited Independent Schools). Students have the support of their teachers to participate in this special event during the morning of this day.
MIDDLE SCHOOL
Save the date: Celebrate Grade 8!
Mark your calendars! On June 13, we will be honouring our Grade 8 class with a ceremony and reception in the Brenda Robson Hall. We look forward to having you join us from 4 – 5:30pm, as we celebrate their accomplishments and acknowledge this important milestone.
Wednesday Form Time
Forms 8IJ will be in Drama Studio. The other Forms will be discussing the leadership elections, working on agenda planning, tidying their lockers and having one-on-one check-ins with their Form Teacher.
Movie Night
Students in the Middle School are welcome to sign up for an after-school movie night on Friday, May 5.

SENIOR SCHOOL

Wednesday Advising Time
This week our Grade 9 students will hear from their peers who have been on exchange, gaining valuable insights into what it takes to make the most of this unique opportunity. Our Grade 10 students will kick off their leadership training with an active session in the gym, discovering more about themselves and their potential as leaders. Finally, our Grade 11/12 students will hear from three different young alumni who will share their career journeys in law, medicine and business.

Get involved with the HCPA in 2023 – 24
The HCPA’s nomination process is now open for the 2023-24 school year for HCPA Committee Positions. Connect with other parents, support the school and have fun by getting involved with the HCPA! Learn more HERE.
Volunteer for the HCPA or become a Grade Rep
The HCPA general volunteer form for the 2023-24 school year is now available HERE. On this form you can nominate yourself to be a Grade Rep for your daughter’s class or a Community Ambassador. Don’t delay since the deadline for Grade Reps and Community Ambassadors is April 21.

Founders’ Day – Special Schedule
- Upper School students make their own way to the church (227 Bloor Street East) by 9:30 am.
- The Graduating class will be presented with their marguerite pins by Dr. Samson and HOGA at 9:30 am in Cody Hall at St. Paul’s Church.
- Students must wear their No. 1 Dress Uniform: pressed blouse, kilt or pants, blazer, tie, oxfords and green socks.
